If I run prime95, my shopping trip takes less gas :shock:

Ok, you're on.
temperature in the lounge room (just outside my door) is 24 C,
and I'm running an AV scan in the background (hence the elevated CPU and HDD usage...)

One of the problems with living close to the equator is keeping my PC cool. After lunch, when I get full sun on that side of the building the temp in the room inside is another 11 degrees hotter than outside, i.e. it's 40ºC 105.8ºF.

I've thought about water cooling; but I don't know if it'd make enough difference. I might even take some pics of my rig tonight and start a thread...hmm.

Heres mine.. although not sure its accurate. The board is quite unreliable and dies occasionally for no apparent reason. (we actually it says bad NB but still ..)

This is mine, on the left runs cool due to the EIST enabled, so low volts (0.86v) and cool temps when idling.

On the right, full load Prime95 (1.18v).

here's my 3 ghz e8400 cranked up to 4 ghz with a little extra voltage: ambient about 19 C, case fans turned down to low, as i don't like listening to them all the time.

peaked at 58 C.

anyone know what 'sensor movement' is?
