Yeah. In another thread, someone pointed me towards this: Corsair H50 Hdryo CPU Cooler

A water cooling kit for $80. The reviews are pretty good, so I think I'm gonna get it with my next check. I'll post back here once I have it installed.

Water is better, just the thought of water moving under pressure in my case gives me the willies.

Can't get the vision of one drop of water landing in the wrong place, out of my head :shock:

Just paranoia, hope you find a good one.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm not completely comfortable with the idea, but the reviews on it are pretty good, and the price is good. Seems like a good way for a novice to get into water cooling.

cant you use colent instead of water?? i dont seeing it being that much thicker
at least that way if it does leak it wont kill anything (just make sure to get the good stuff not the cheap stuff)

I was going to look into something like that. You would need a non conductive fluid of similar density and properties however, and that may not exist.

i have tried a few times to download and run memtest86 version 4.0
i download file burn iso to CD and restart computer but it wont read i have done it 5 times already all 5 times the same thing yet UBCD and parted magic work fine

That's wierd.. Never gave me any trouble. Well, let's put it this way; as long as the voltage is at least the rated value (according to CPU-z) or a little bit higher, it'll be safe.

I was going to look into something like that. You would need a non conductive fluid of similar density and properties however, and that may not exist.

You do get non-conductive liquids specially for liquid cooled PC setups... My internet is messing around at the moment, so I can't load the actual page, but a quick Google search showed a couple links that look promising; such as Non-Conductive Coolant and PC ICE Non-Conductive Water Cooling Coolant 32 Ounces CLEAR: CrazyPC Computers.

Oh, and if water (or non-water based) running through pipes isn't quite hardcore enough for you..... Why not submerge your entire PC in oil...? Hehe... Custom PCs by Puget Systems; Mineral Oil Submerged Computer

As far as I know, a lot of these mini water cooling systems don't actually use water, but coolant. I'm pretty sure that's what I read when I was reading up on the Thermaltake Symphony mini, anyway.

You would generally use distilled water.

Your friend is snakebit! Lol, in my reading the other day one thing was said universally, that the users had never had an issue with leaking. Obviously it can happen, but it isn't a common problem. A Guy

so my ÜberCPU....

cant clock CPU more,last time i clocked it more, my HDD went crazy, tried to reinstall win7 (didnt know it was because of clock), told me that cant install on this disc, and showed that i have 250GB free space (i have 160GB HDD)...

id its not powersupply then pm me plz and ill make a thread to get a bit more info how to clock this piece of sh*t. (Intel Pentium4 613 Cedar Mill).

havent clocked GPU yet, gonna do it in few min after dling ATI CCC. (so glad that they made it so simple to clock ati cards)
