My system comprises W7 Home Premium SP1 and iiyama ProLiteH4815 monitor with Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce430 driver.Clicking the Get Windows 10 button placed in the system tray some timeago by MS, brings up a window with the message “Unfortunately, this PC isunable to run Windows 10” and gives the reason, “The display manufacturerhasn’t made your display compatible with Windows 10.Check with the manufacturer for support.”

Looking on the Nvidia website is just mesmerizing with itseems thousands of drivers available but nowhere can I find any suggestions asto which one(s) might work with my set-up. Also it seems Nvidia is not going to do anything to solve this problem.

Before going any further I would like to know if Iwent ahead regardless and went through the upgrade procedure, would my systemcrash or would it work in a restricted manner. I do not play games but mainly use my system for Internet searching andshopping, sending and receiving emails including photos. If anyone knows of a suitable driver thatwould work in the event that I cannot just go ahead and upgrade to W10 I wouldbe grateful for details of where to find it and how to install it or for othersuggestions for overcoming the problem.

Hello Nosmas mate I am wondering if you have a spare drive you could try a clean install of 10 without any upgrade crap. Now the drive needs to be clean as if it were new. When it is installed you only need the generic key to activate it. Now when the first activation is done then you use the key from your 7 Home install to activate it bit keep in mind once you do that the 7 key will be replaced by the 10 key you will not be able to use the 7 again.

See this Windows 10 - Clean Install - Windows 10 Forums and it might as well worth joining up on that sister forum you will get answers from the horses mouth as it were;)
