Solved Pre-upgrade of Hardware & change to Win 7

If I make an iso image I can completely copy it to my SATA 500 gb drive, right?

Hmm...TruImage 13.0 not sure if Universal Repair is on there as guess what drive it's on, and Win 7 says not installed !!! lol

You're wasting a lot of time with an XPired OS which is so old and decrepit it can't be installed on modern hardware without major surgery.

Have you installed WIn7 yet? Unplug all other drives except the target HD to Clean Install Windows 7.

We can deal with XP once 7 is up and running. Read over the Reinstall link in my siggy below to see valuable tips about what assures a perfect Win7 install.
 
I have & installed fine. I may just skip XP as it is a lot of work.
