I just installed Win 7 Ultimate on a machine that had Win 7 home so I could use more ram.

One feature I always had is missing? The right context menu used to have PREVIEW which opened the image viewer. That is missing and I sure don't want to have to load GIMP for every image I want to check.

It still works fine in 7 Home premium but cannot figure how to restore it to the menu in Ultimate?
I really rely on that function.

I found a registry hack but it just gives me an error. I find a lot of responses her to restore to Win 10 but none I could find apply to Win 7 Ultimate.

Thanks for helping.

I fixed it by making a copy of the DLL's to my program files folder. To save space on SDD I created on my disk drive a partition for installs of new programs and changed the default in registry to reflect that location. The Preview as well as MS Games both stopped working. I guess that change can effect pre-existing programs but easy to just drag a copy of their folders to the new location and all is well.

I do a lot of graphics and love that function when previewing a folder of images. It lets me page through them quickly in a large window which is helpful if I have several versions of same render. Makes it easier to find a specific version when it is nearly full screen.

Thanks
