What exactly do you do? When you select the pictures then right click, do you then click on Preview or ?????
What is the file extension of the pictures? jpg jpeg gif bmp png ???
Check Control Panel, Default Programs, Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
Scroll down to the file types I listed and set the program you want to open for them by default.
I have them set for Windows Photo Viewer.
