I have an issue with an HP deskjet D4363. It worked just fine when I bought it in November and then just stopped.... At first it would print 3 or 4 lines and then freeze. Now it does nothing and isn't even recognised by windows as a printer... I have a code 43 error unrecognised device in my device manager under usb.I have uninstalled the printer and drivers, deleted temp files, reinstalled on windows selective start-up with latest driver download from HP website. At first the printer drivers installed and I could access the print menu and attempt to print, but now the driver won't even install and there is no printer even though the drivers have been installed. Tried all available usb ports... at my wits end because I don't understand how it can work one day and the next not!
My laptop is new (bought in december 2011) and has no problems with any other usb devices. I have updated all drivers and applied all updates. I have followed all the HP troubleshooting guides
