Basically when I print something from any program, I tend to double click on the printer icon to look at data transferring; HOWEVER, the queue will NOT open.

My interweb searches always seem to generate a plethora of results for how to reset print spool, etc (which I tried just for the heck of it).
Any Ideas??

(I work at a print shop so the jobs are often excessively large and can cause me question the network when jobs take up to 5 min to transfer.)

**Edit** How do I make the print queue dialog box open when I double click the little printer icon??

Thanks!
Using win7 pro x 64
