Solved Printer Install Problem

Hi, my old laserjet went bellyup so I was forced into buying a replacement, a Brother HL-L2350DW.
When installing the driver the setup gets to switch on the printer then reports "No printer found".
I have bought and fitted a new cable but same result. Very strange, the old printer worked without probem.
I keep a windows 10 image and restored that, the printer auto installs and works perfectly, so now I am stuck, but I would much prefer to run my old win7.
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Are there drivers for win7 a lot arnt making them now its out of support

You might want to try their support. Official Brother Support - Product Support Center – Brother Also try another computer if possible since it's new there's the possibility you got a bad one.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated.
I restored an old win 10 image and ran the brother install cd, the driver went in right away and the printer works without problem.
I expect its some problem with my win 7 setup. The driver disc says its for all windows versions including 7.
Anyway I am reconciled to accepting win 10, seems to work ok, although i did gut it severly with NTlite and the installed size is no more than Win 7.

If I knew that you where using a CD that come with it I would have suggested the download. They probably fixed some bugs.
