hi all,

just installed win 7 on the new HD. epson printer installed fine. my okidata, using the latest downloaded 64 bit driver, shows up in the "unspecified" devices category instead of in printers. unusable as it will not show when i try to print. tried multiple install/uninstalls. how to get it to show as a printer? thanks.

ok problem solved.....

we could never get okidata to show up in programs every time we looked to see if it was there...and now that it is installed, there is still no program folder called okidata. search only shows a file called setup.inx. so went to install printers, have disk, and kept drilling down until we found that file and then it opened the install function. when we found that file in win7 search it would not open. sheesh okidata could be more user friendly in their driver install process I think :-)
