I have finally got the XP machine running as should be but have one small problem left. I am stuck trying to get rid of a search bar / page called "sweet page" and it is proving to be extremely hard to get rid of. Google searches suggest it is a from of malware and I have tried just about everything I can throw at it with no luck.
Anyone got any ideas on this wretched issue as it has obviously downloaded with something the owner has put on. I did a repair install and foolishly kept his old settings. I would rather not have to go back and do another reinstall as this one has proved to be problematic.

Well got the ADW to run from a stick and it found some rubbish so I have done as much as I can with this machine the owner is going to have to install Office and whatever all over again as the install is not the original XP disk as I think I might have mentioned before.
I have already told him to get a new tower and just hope his old CAD stuff will install. Pity he didn't update a long time ago as I am thinking unless he installs a 32bit system of some sort none of that software is going to work
