problem for installing softwares

i run a software setup in windows7 but when it is ask for yes or no in my windows the yes is not highlighting and it is asking to continue please type an administrator password and there is no blank in which i can write any password.............. please help me

Hi, if you right click the setup or install executable, do you get the choice to run as administrator ?
If not then you are not logged in as such and therefore cannot mske certain changes, including (depending on who set the permissions) adding or removing software.

Are you the Computer Administrator? If not then who is? You request him to do the needful. If you installed W 7 yourself then you should have been the Administrator. Perhaps you got W 7 preloaded without Administrative Rights.

i run it as administrator but it is aksing for password

hey can we restore our data in window seven if it is formatted and window is corrupted....

If you do a repair install, your data is preserved.

Do you have a system restore point from before this problem started? If so, I'd try that 1st. If not, you can boot into Safe Mode and see if you have a choice of the Administrator account. You could then make sure your user does indeed still have administrator status. Disabling User Account Control would likely fix this, but it is there for a reason.
