Problem starting streamci.dll

I upgraded my Auroram9700 laptop to win7 64 bit.

My sound drivers are not working, I get this error when I try to download my appropriate sound driver:

I need someone to contact me via msn ([email protected]) to remote view and try to see what the problem is or fix it if you know how. I've been trying to figure it out for days now and its driving me insane.

Erhm that's for vista. Since I'm desperate I tried it anyways and it didn't extract properly.

Do you have a x64 or x32 operating system?

64bit. It also says "No ADI codec drivers installed" on startup.

Day number four with no sound. You would think with "400" people viewing the drivers section one of them would be intelligent enough to fix this problem...

Ill pay someone if they can fix this through remote assistance....

I found the drivers on the alienware website but they are XP drivers you can give them a go: Alienware : The Ultimate Gaming Machine?

These drivers are Vista x64 drivers they will probably work for you,but make sure you install it under compatibility mode: Solved Alienware Aurora m9700 Drivers Problem Solved. - Vista Forums

Also just want to know how old is the laptop?

The laptop is 3 years old. People proclaim they have fixed it.
