Solved Problem Steps Recorder not installed on computer

Good morning everyone,

I have a slight problem i haven't been able to search down a fix for.
I have an HP thin client computer on my desk at the moment that doesn't have PSR.exe
I'm wondering how i would go about getting that installed. I was under the impression it was part of every vanilla windows install. Is it a snap-in that i need to activate somewhere, or is there a link someone can provide to download it?

those are great steps, but you are right, it doesn't help without the executable. thank you though

Hello ilblissli,

The executable should be at "C:\Windows\System32\psr.exe". If you don't have it, then run a SFC /SCANNOW command to see if it may be able to restore it.
