I tried playing playing different 1080p mkvs on Windows 7 using VLC, Media Player Classic, and Zoom Player. It only worked on VLC and Media Player Classic, but the problem was that since my resolution is 1680 x 1050 it has to downsize the resolution of the movie which made it look all pixelated. 1080p plays fine on every player on Windows XP and resizes perfectly with smooth edges. I'm not sure why it doesn't work in Windows 7, any advice? The difference is kind of like playing a game with high anti-aliasing and without. Also, I have AVC Codec and CCCP on both operating systems.

have you set up these players to actully use CoreAVC, or did you just install it?

i regularly run 1080p video through MPC with CoreAVC on 1680x1050 using VMR9 Renderless with absolutely no problems.

Also try KM Player.

I have a similar problem, I am using 7 Ultimate RTM x64 on my laptop and PC. I use CCCP + CoreAVC for video playback. Everything works fine on laptop, however, on PC, if I choose VM9 renderless, it stretches out the picture during the playback. If I choose VM9 renderless, it pixaletes and does not let switch to full screen mode in my second display (HD TV) It just locks up. Playback works only in Haali Renderer mode....

Any ideas?
