Yesterday, I bought a new sound card, it is High Definition Audio (8-channel) and I have 5.1 Logitech speakers. The problem is that the sould card has only 3 audio sockets, green (for the front speakers), pink (for micro.) and blue. However, my speakers, which are 5.1., have 3 cables to connect to PC, green, black and orange.
Is there any way to connect all the three cables of the speakers to my new sound card?

That does not sound like a 7.1 (8 channel) sound card. It sounds like a 2.1 sound card with only the Green speaker jack.

What is the make and model of the sound card? We can only guess without that.
