hey idk if this is in the right section
but anyways

i bought a new laptop last sunday, and since then ive been having trouble with it
the "gadgets" on it will not connect to the internet, like the weather, news ect.
and no messenger will work. i have msn and aim installed but everytime i try to sign in it says that the internet or firewall settings arent right
but here the thing, internet explorer works fine
mozilla fire fox wont work tho, it wont connect to the internet
and on the ie, java wont work either, it is properlly installed but it wont work

i think thats about it with the issues
and to try to fix it, ive tried turning off my firewalls to make sure thats no the problem, and i still had the same problem
and ive checked to make sure im not on "work offline"

btw its a wireless internet, and i dont think its security settings oon the network thing because everything works fine on my other laptop

oh and this is an hp g60-552nr

so any help is appreciated
i found out its a display model and the people where i bought it from (radioshack) said if its giving issues to go and replace it, but i still want to see if i can try and fix it

It is probably the firewall or anti-virus. Could you tell us about youor networking set up?

Also go to search and type cmd. then type ipconfig /all take a screen shot using the buil ti snipping tool (type snipping in search) and upload it using the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip) See pics
