Problem with Software

Is anyone having a problem of the computer freezing after they have installed windows live messenger? I have narrowed it down to that application after formatting and reinstalling the OS 2 times and uninstalling and reinstalling 3 differtent antivirus apps. I even thought it may have been the keyboard and mouse and swapped them out also.

Thanks alot I have deleted the issue in the registry now trying to reinstall windows live. Thanks.
