Problem with Word 2010 documents

I have a problem when cutting and pasting words to a Word 2010 document on my laptop.

Whenever I attempt to do so the letters "TI" do not appear within the words they belong to.

For example, if I paste the word "Question" it appears as "Ques on."

In place of the letters "TI" a little blank square box appears.

Until this issue reared its ugly head, I was unaware just how many words contain the letters "TI."

The word "Particular" appears like this: par􀢢cular

Is there a method to repair this ongoing issue?

If Word is part of Office 2010, you could try an Office Repair. To do that, Open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, scroll down to Microsoft Office, Right Click on it & select Change, this should open a couple of Office Repair options to try.

Also check auto-correct. To test, try typing one of the works that has the issue.
