Solved Problems after pressing the power button.

Somehow I have pressed the power button of the computer while it was running, and then I am facing some problems.

All the programs takes a time to react .... not less than 15 seconds. Browsers take a bit more.
If I try to open a HDD partition in windows explorer, after double clicking on the partition, it takes a time. Then I am getting a sound from the HDD, as it it starting, and then the new window appears. Slowly the icons and thumbnails load, and during all the time, I cannot click anything. The situation is the same for both the HDDs.

I restarted two times, if it becomes normal. But it did nothing.

What went wrong? What I am to do?

Please suggest me.

EDIT: I am getting the same sound when shutting down the PC from the HDDs. A sound like you are accelerating the motorbike

What kind of sound are you getting from the HD?
I'd run the HD Manufacturer diagnostics.

Maybe pressing the Power Button caused a power spike?

You can also try a SFC /SCANNOW and a DISK CHECK to look for issues.

Your specs say you don't have a PSU.
I don't understand how that is possible???

Just saw your edit about the HD sound.
HD's making noise is usually a sign of a HD going bad - not good.

Are all HD's making this noise, or can you isolate which one is?

I have had ram make a loud motor boat sound when not working properly but it always set something in event viewer and sometimes BSOD.

About the PSU, one technician made it for me using my inverter's connection and some junk parts of my damaged PSU. It works, but I really dont know the details. I think I should get one, as early as possible (I have one, came with iBall case, but that is a weak one).

Checked with WD Data Lifeguard, Seatools for windows, and SFC scannow. All passed, but the sound is still there, at startup and shut down.

I am planning to reseat the computer. May it work? And, also planning to use the iBall power supply.

When I will open the computer, I will try to determine the source of th sound at first, by removing the HDDs, one by one.

I would tend to agree with you there. I would consider purchasing a good quality PSU and use that instead of the cobbled-together unit you are currently using. As it has been made from parts from an already damaged unit, it is quite possible that the cobbled-together unit has started to go bad. I would also consider not using the affected computer until you have replaced the PSU, just in case it takes more of your system with it.

Dwarf, the iBall power supply that I have unused is 450 watt only. May I use it for the time being before I get a new one?

Reseat the entire computer without the processor. Sounds are gone. Everything works fine now. The sound was actually coming from the 1tb one. Probably that disk is going to be damaged slowly, I need to replace it I think.

Installed the power supply, too. Shortly I will get a new one.
