Problems after updating windows

After using windows update to update files, I am having many problems which I didn't have in the previous days. Example-

1. Kmplayer doesn't work-when starting black screen appears with no video and audio but if I change the video renderer to 'vmr9 renderless' the video appears but still no audio. I could uninstall it with the uninstallation file thats in the system directory but not from 'programs and features'.

2. Can't access Windows firewall advanced settings. I click advanced settings but nothing happens even if I wait.

3. When I try to uninstall a file in programs and features "An error occured while trying to uninstall 'find and mount', 'kmplayer' etc...it may have been already uninstalled". The reason I gave two programs because not all programs says this. Calibre works adobe acrobat works in uninstalling but Only a few like kmplayer and I don't know the reason. Unfortunetely I didn't save system restore point even though I made system repair disk. So I can't use system restore to solve this

Can someone please help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi Souravi785,

You could try downloading Revo Uninstaller (FREE) and see if that can uninstall it properly. When you do the scan for leftover items make sure you use the Advanced option.

Uninstall the updates causing the problem, create a system restore point, reinstall one by one until you locate the culprit.

Run sfc /scannow to check for missing/corrupt files.
