Solved Problems and errors trying to reinstall Windows 7

Let`s s start at the beginning.

What are you trying to use to install windows ?

And how did you set it up, if you created it ?

From post #16 it sounds like you are trying to use a normal installer dvd or usb stick to install windows onto a UEFI motherboard bios and a GPT partition styled hard drive or ssd. You can`t do that.

why not? i'm following the instructions on the website link

I told you what to do if it failed. Did you even read my post?

greg you've given me a bunch of info. tbh it's confusing me.

i'm trying to do this again as i needed to step away before throwing the laptop outta the window..

i should've read it more closely. the repair option in the installation did the trick. thanks greg
