Hi,
first post here as have been able to sort out most problems through the help of the posts on here but this one has me stumped!
Bought the Orzly SD 50 wireless head phones last month primarily for my wife to use on the phone - skype/office intranet - they connected via bluetooth, appeared in the devices desktop but no sound, the same on my son's Dell XPS; however they did connect first time to my Vostro running Windows 7 professional and our HP tablet running Android and worked audio wise with itunes etc. So first conundrum why work on some devices and not others, even same make computers running same version of Windows.
Anyway, left them alone for two weeks until last week and tried to use the headphones to listen to itunes on the Vostro, no problem connecting, were visible as SD50 in the devices tab and were showing on available playback devices in the sound tab but no sound, even the bar was going up and down on the headphones volume indicator on the Vostro. Yes the volume was all the way up on the set themselves. Looked at the web and the general advice was uninstall the unit and the bluetooth radio in devices, reboot and reinstall once the system had reinstalled the drivers for the bluetooth radio. Not the thing to do as now the headphones will connect via bluetooth but there is no driver present, the device manager just shows a fault in a peripheral device, the device is not now in the available playback devices tab and any number of updates to the intel centrino 3 wireless adapter make no difference. Tried every fix on this forum, installed updates from the Windows mobile device again to no effect. There are no drivers for the headphones on the internet and no disk or web address came with the headphones. All drivers for all the hardware are tabbed as up to date except of course the headphones that now have no driver.
They work fine with the tablet and connect to all the laptops but either have stopped working with my Vostro or never worked with the HP or Dell XPS.
Help!
Thanks
David
