Hello, I wanted to see if any of you knew of a reputable company that offered live remote "tune-up" services for a charge. I'm not talking about all the obvious power/memory boosting optimization, I mean the things that would take a higher level of expertise. I saw that Norton had such a service, but I read poor reviews on it. Do you all have any suggestions? Thank you for your time and your help!

theres nothing those companies can do that u wouldnt be able to do your self. chances are they willl charge u a ridiculous amount for what u will be getting in return. if u wanna start off easy by your self get ccleaner and defraggler..and yea there free

its better to learn to tune-up on your own

you get knowledge
you get your benefits
and of course at your own risk
at least without consuming any money

I agree completely with the above 3 Replies.

CCleaner - yes, good app, stay away from the Reg Cleaner unless you know what you are doing.

Defraggler - Eh, is it really needed? This can still be debated. Yes it works, it's safe, but, I'm still not convinced it is needed.

I have Win 7 now that has been running for a long time, the only things I run often is CCleaner. That's it.

Win 7 is very effcient at what it does. It is not like XP. You really don't have to do much to it to keep it running.

OneCare TuneUp is really probably all you will ever really need. Save your money.

Hello, thank you for the replies. I use cccleaner and smart defrag, but won't use onecare because I will not enable IE ever again for any reason (long story). Like I said in the original post, All of those relatively simple tweaks/cleans/tuneups that you could find with a google search I have already done. I am talking about higher level overclocking if you will, do you know of any companies that offer those services via remote access?

ABSolutely NOT.

Anyone who touts they can overclock your system remotely is LYING to you.

You can not overclock a system remotely, and more than likely, anyone trying will smoke your system.

Also, Overclocking and Tune Up are 2 completely different things.
Apples and The Space Shuttle, very different things..
