Solved Program off-screen somewhere

Hi All

Wonder if someone can advise, I've pushed some incorrect short key in Photoshop which seems to have shunted it off screen somewhere invisible though it's still showing in task bar etc. Tried a few restarts. Bit stuck! Thanks

The pixel location of the program window is in the Registry, in the appropriate HKCU\Software\Adobe\Photoshop and then related sub-key. It is the AppWindowPosition value.

For example, here's my Photoshop 6.0 value (similar for my other versions of Photoshop)"

If you "reset" the first two values (which are the pixel location on the screen) to say 2,2 that should get the window back onto your primary monitor.

Alternatively, if you "hover" the mouse over the active taskbar item so that the Aero preview appears, you can then move the mouse over the Aero preview and right-click to produce the popup menu. Then select MOVE from the popup menu. Now you can use the arrow keys (e.g. left arrow), which will move the "off-screen window" one pixel for each key-click. Hold down the arrow key and the window should now "slide into view", after which you can then click on its title bar to drag the window back fully onscreen where you want it.

Is it possible that your machine has been inadvertently configured for 2 displays? I've seen it before.
