Solved programs on a different partition

Is it possible to install programs and use them on a different partition to my os as the partition doesn't get used for any thing because i dont keep files/photos or should I delete it

Hello Andy,

Yes, it's fine to do so. Some programs will give you the option during their installation to select where you want to install the program to. You could also use the tutorial below to change the default installation path for the programs that do not offer you a choice, but this option below should really only be done on a clean Windows 7 installation to prevent possible issues with already installed programs.
