Programs randomly "Not Responding"

Hello. So, programs randomly go "(Not Responding)" a lot. I play League of Legends and whilst playing it will randomly freeze (mouse still move-able) and sounds will stutter/repeat. I've tried multiple things like reinstalling Windows and such. Also My display driver occasionally crashes and I sometimes get blue screens because of it. Although that problem hasn't started happening since a month, yet the "(Not Responding)" thing has been going on for over half a year. So I'm not entirely sure if the two are linked. Would appreciate any kind of help, but would like to avoid having to download stuff to disks because I had to do multiple things like that before and it never worked.

Also I think it could have something to do with Plug in (Shockwave flash), because that occasionally seems to crash when things freeze.

Start with filling in your system specs

:ar: System Specs

Then I would monitor your temps

:ar: Core Temp for your CPU

and gpu-z for your video card

:ar: GPU-Z

The main thing I would look into are your temperatures. A lot of crashing can be caused by temps being to high when your computer is processing many things at once. Also make sure all your drivers are up to date.

Antivirus wont let me DL coretemp. Also If it's overheating issues then why does stuff freeze right off start-up?

What antivirus program are you using? Have you scanned your computer recently? If basic programs are freezing / crashing right after startup then it is possible that you have some sort of virus, spyware, malware, Trojan or something of the sort. Although if this was the case there would probably be other signs of infection. Has your computer been running slower recently or have you blocked / unable to access certain files on your system?

I have norton and ran full system scans, says everything is fine. Im starting to think that it's a hardware issue but not sure which part.

Okay well that's good we can rule out a virus. Just for the heck of it, when was the last time you opened up your computer and cleaned it out? Some overheating and hardware problems can be caused by to much dust or hair on components, fans and heat sinks.

Cleaned out my fan not too long ago.
I might just bring my PC into best buy or something.

Before you do that, you mentioned you have had crashes. Try posting in the BSOD thread.
