Put file on desktop -> open file -> access denied?

Hello there.

Whenever i take a file and put it onto the my desktop, all the permissions to the file is completely stripped. Leaving none able to open the file.
I am able to go into access control and add myself again, but it makes no sense at all..
Why does windows do this and do anyone know any fix for this?

Okay, so do you have any idea how to make it behave "normal" again?

I know that, but that isn't really a fix :sarc: I ask for help in this forum to get it to stop "protecting" me as you call it.. i have'nt seen this behavior before on other machines so it must be something "fixable".

Everything ive tried dumping on the desktop gets stripped for access priviledges.
.exe, .doc, .rar, .zip, .pdf and so on.

I found the reason for this problem.
My user was'nt added to his own Desktop folder in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Desktop
It seems to be working as intended now.
