QoS Packet Scheduler (windows 7)

Didnt know where else to put this as its more like a tip/trick thing.

anyway in the other windows versions like xp vista and that you can alter the quos
packet scheduler. On my other computer i have windows 7 ultimate 32bit and have
manage to find it and alter it to read 0 on the Bandwidth Limit.

Now on this computer I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit and having
trouble excessing it to change it. here is the tutorial for it:

start - run - type gpedit.msc
expand the "local computer policy" branch
expand the "administrative templates" branch
expand the "network branch"
Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler" in left window
in right window double click the "limit reservable bandwidth" setting
on setting tab check the "enabled" item
where it says "Bandwidth limit %" change it to read 0
Effect is immediate on some systems, some need to re-boot.

my problem is that everytime i try it, How can i fix this problem.
i get an error box up saying the following

pallesnw you have gone way off track on this. read my topic again and read after the
quoted part of the topic.. that is more my problem and concern about.

QOS on a home network is a waste of time- either way.
You gain nothing by disabling it- or enabling it.
It is only worthwhile on larger networks.

If you want to enable/disable it, do this:
Control Panel/Network and Sharing Center/Local Area Connection (or whatever your current connection is)/Properties/(Check/Uncheck) QoS Packet Scheduler; done.

You will gain absolutely nothing from this change.

I keep mine disabled because I am anal.
