I have a digital voltmeter ( a Unit-T M890G ) and it comes with K Type Thermocouple cable with a little ball at the end to measure temps. My question is pretty simple, can I touch certain parts of the computer while it's running with this to check for exact temp. I wanted to touch the VRAM Heatsinks, NB Heatsink and so forth. Can I directly touch it while the rig is powered on. Here is a pic of the measuring cable I am talking about. I know how to use the device, was just wondering about taking direct temps.
