yeah hi i just got a mini dell laptop for my christmas gift this year and i would like to play games on it. Not the little games like checkers and that but actual games like you have to download for instance Perfect world, World of Warcraft and so on.
What i want to know is window 7 starter going to be able to handle them or is it just going to freeze up and crash?

Welcome
If they are some of the power hungry games, you will probably crash. The mini probably meets the minimum requirements and that means not a lot of memory etc.
Give us the specs and we can be more definitive.
But I do know that a starter will not do much.

i actually don't know the specs of the games but the one i was wanting to do is perfect world and you have to download it offline. It's a free game that i've been playing on my friends comp that's really addicting >>

He's asking for the notebook specs.

Try running one of these more challenging games to see.

First tame the factory bloatware following these steps so it doesn't throttle performance: http://www.sevenforums.com/installa...p-all-four-primary-partitions.html#post952573

oh lol i'm a noob when it comes to computer stuff i'm more of the gamer type >>

I'm not really a gamer type, more of a tech guy. So I'd suggest downloading the game you most want to play to see how it runs.

you'll have to give me a step by step on how to do that like i said i know very little on computers and that

Are you running an Anti-Virus on your computer now? I would download and install MS Security Essentials or Avast 5, install and run a full scan. Also install Malwarebytes, update and run a Full Scan weekly.

Keep your Windows Updates current and Firewall turned on.

This should give you all the protection you need, however if you download anything I would immediately rightclick the file and scan with MSE and Malwarebytes from the rightclick menu.
