Question regarding Win 7 32 -> 64 bit

Upgraded my PC RAM recently and would like to install 64 bit Win 7 to take full advantage of the RAM.

Unfortunately, my hard disk only has 1 partition. I do not mind losing all my 32 bit user profile info, could I do a "in place" custom install of Win 7 64 bit onto my PC?

Unfortunately it is not possible to perform any type of upgrade between 32 and 64 bit systems.

You need to back up all your data and then perform a fresh install
