Questions relating to clean installing Windows 7 Pro 64-bit DreamSpark

I am trying to clean install Windows 7 Professional on My Toshiba Laptop (W7 Home Premium 64-bit came preinstalled). I am a student and had access to DreamSpark Premium at a community college that I attended. I have a copy of Windows 7 Pro and when I put the key into VAMT 2.0 it says it's a Volume Licensed MAK with 5 Remaining Activations (It hasn't been installed yet).

I am no longer a student there, but the licenses are perpetual. I frequently clean install my laptop usually every 6 months.

Am I going to run into problems down the road if every time I reinstall Windows it will use 1 activation?
How can I avoid this? What will happen when there are no remaining activations. All support is apparently managed through Kivuto, but as I am no longer a student at that college, I am not sure they would fix it.

I thought about using the Windows Backup and Restore tool, but am not sure how reliable this is.

What/How do you guys recommend I do?

Current System Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Office 2010 Pro Plus SP1 32-bit
Kaspersky PURE 3.0 (also have Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 I may switch to).

What/How do you guys recommend I do?

Thanks!

I would not mess with VLK for an organization you're no longer a part of as these are to be strictly administered by the IT.

Instead I would use the Win7 Premium key on the COA sticker which you already own for the life of the PC, to reinstall as often and however you want in 32- or 64-bit.

If you'll prepare from and then stick closely to the tools and methods in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 you'll get and keep a perfect install for as long as you do.
