Clean installing Windows 7 with OEM license using retail ISO

Hello. I need some help in clean installing Windows 7. It is my first time doing this so I would like some insights/answers regarding a few concerns I have.

First, I have an OEM license and using Microsoft's website to download ISO does not work (I have tried multiple times). So I used this and was able to acquire a retail ISO. I tried searching to see if using an OEM license on retail ISO would work but I get conflicting information. Some say it's alright, some say you need to do something for the license to be accepted. So, will using an OEM license on a retail ISO result to any problems?

Second, normally when a computer boots up, it immediately loads windows 7. The computer however gets stuck on a screen which prompts pressing F1 to enter BIOS. I have to enter BIOS everytime I start up the computer, exit BIOS and only then will Windows 7 start up. Do you have any idea what caused this and will it have any impact to the clean reinstall?

I do not want to brick this computer since, even though I don't use it, it is used by my family so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

You wrote that you have Win 7 ultimate installed and you've downloaded Win 7 from Heidoc. Did you downloaded Win 7 ultimate? 32 or 64 bits?

There is no difference in a Retail Win 7 installation files and a OEM Win 7 installation files. The difference is on the license. With a retail license you can install in different computers. With a OEM license, once you install in one computer it will only be activated in that computer.

If every time you start the computer it has to enter BIOS, I would say that your CR2032 CMOS battery needs to be replaced.
When you enter BIOS, is the clock set correctly?

Apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately, it seems like the clock is not set correctly (the clock is 00:00 and date is January 1 2009). I also forgot to mention that Windows date and time resets every startup to the aforementioned date and time. Will this affect the clean install process?

Regarding the downloaded ISO, I downloaded Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

I will update my profile in a moment to include hardware specs.

EDIT: Updated my profile to the best of my knowledge.

You need to replace the CR2032 CMOS battery.
Without a healthy battery you loose all the BIOS configuration every time you shutdown the computer.

If you downloaded Win 7 from Heidoc it should be ok.

Thanks for the help! I will try to find one and replace it before formatting, just to be safe.
