Hi gents,
I am using an old version of win 7 RFC....
after 6 months of not using my pc i hooked it up on the net 3 days ago ...
I found out that my RFC build is now being seen as "an illegal version of windows"
Now after yesterday, my soundcard suddenly is not detected anymore. Instead, it detects a Realtek digital output.... this is funny, because i have a soundblaster 24 bit installed.
Now i deleted all the sound drivers, and rebooted windows to reinstall the soundblaster drivers...
Win 7 finds soundblaster drivers, installs them... only to give a message that again, my win 7 version is illegal... after that i says that the drivers are not installed correctly...
Can anyone tell me, if having this old RFC version is linked to my soundcard problem ?
(ps i tried installing them manualy, dint worked either)
PSPS: if i order a product key... do i have to reinstall win7 anyways ??? (I CANT REINSTALL WINDOWS, TO MUCH SOFTWARE ONE IT THAT I CANT LOOSE
)
