Sometimes when I start up my computer I here AM talk radio through the speakers. It starts when I power up the PC and stops when Windows starts.

Here's the setup between the PC and the speakers. The cable from the rear audio out jack goes to a RCA Audio/Video Selector. Two cables from the selector go to a Realistic SA-10 Amp. From the amp two cables connect to the speakers. Ther is no radio reciever on the circuit.

Anybody ever experienced this or have any idea what's going on? It's not a problem - I'm just curious.

Try some of these. It may or may not work. It's basically intermod or harmonics. Intermodulation - Wikipedia

Also, make sure the equipment and computer are grounded.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to do a little research and check out my setup - especially the cabling. Of course, once I got interested in it - it stopped. I haven't heard anything since I posted here, but I think I found the culprit. I didn't mention an audio output cable from the RCA selector to a Sansui audio system. The power to the component is off. HOWEVER the cable is fairly long and it sometimes get into a loop. That sounds like an antenna.
