Random app crashing with apphangb1

Hi! I have a weird problem with my system, I hope someone here can find a solution

My machine started to crash with the apphangb1 message a few weeks ago. I would say only 5-10% of my apps would do this. I did countless tries to solve (net framwork and vc++ reinstalls), no luck. Ended formatting my HD and reinstalling my OS.

A few days ago it started again but not with the same apps. I decided to check my hardware, leaving only one memory stick at a time to test them. Also ran memtest with both. Did a scandisk. No luck.
I asked a friend about this error. Long story short I was able to narrow down to one culprit: WMI service. Leave it off (deactivated on machine start) no crashes. Reactivate it, crash. I have a crash report for one of the apps, generated with whatishang: Hang report for C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\A2AUpdate.exe - Pastebin.com

My friend told me to use the WMI diagnostic tool. So I did, here's the log: 29634 21:12:16 (0) ** WMIDiag v2.2 started on sabado, 15 de outubro de 2016 at - Pastebin.com (there is a long log too, i can post if needed).
It says there's two missing .dll files but I checked another machine with same OS build as mine and these .dlls are also missing there (no apphangb1 there). My solution so far is to disable Winmgmt service but i'm not happy with it. My friend said the problem probably isnt in Winmgmt itself but maybe some software pushing stuff into Winmgmt that makes things crash.

I beg you: What the hell is going on? I simply cant understand, it never happened with me. Thanks alot!

I have exactly the SAME problem!

I spent hours trying to find out what I could do to solve this problem. And the only possible solution was disable WMI service.

Do you have any Intel service (i.e. raid ?)

What do we have in common for this problem ?

Tried to reach you using PM but it seems I dont have enough privileges to do that...
I dont have any intel services nor installed intel services driver (never did tbh). I did alot of research but couldnt reach a solution. My fix so far is:
1) Create a .bat file to pause and to restart Winmgmt. Some apps work without problem, some crash. So I pause winmgmt before running the problematic app and restart winmgmt after running it.

2) Using this page's WMI Troubleshooting | Windows OS Hub step "Re-registration of the WMI Libraries and Recompilation of MOF Files" seems to help.

3) In some cases like farming simulator 2017, it wouldnt run unless I paused winmgmt. After a couple of runs it started working without needing to pause winmgmt (????).

Your consideration number 3 happens with me too in some applications. It seems like when you pause or disable the WMI, the order of services startup change. And when you restart WMI the problematic application is now working. It´s weird....
