Man I got so fed up I bought a new CPU AMD 8 core 4000 and a new Moherboard - Asus M5A99FX - New 2 TB Hard drive and a 240 Gig SSD for windows .
The only thing I kept from my old system was the 4 X 4 Gig Corsair memory .

Windows completely installed without a hicup including service pack 1 .

Everything was going just beautiful and then it happened ...BSOD
I have only had the one BSOD so far ....

Thank you very very much for any help I have followed instructions and include the dump files .

My wife says that the temperature in my office was very hot when BSOD occured . I have the flu and thought this heat info might be important .

So far only the one BSOD has occured everything else seems great .
NOTE : I went ahead and built the new computer because I feared I had a BIOS virus . MY FSB was locked at 230 and not 200 like it was supposed to be and it would not let me change it . So my 3500 quad core was running at 230 X 17.5 = 4200 Mhz ... This was causing constant BSOD and not letting me install windows updates like Service Pack 1 . All that crap started when I did a bios update about 6 months ago .

I have the MSI NFS980-G65 MB here and the Quad AMD 3500 but not sure if it is safe to use or sell . Not being an expert I just went ahead and built the new system . It appears to be running fine but I would still like to know what casued the BSOD yesterday . Was I doing too many things at once ? Was it too hot in my office ? etc...

Any help is truly appreciated .
