Random BSOD, help appreciated.

Hello, my laptop gets random(as far as i know) Blue screens, have tried memtest but got 0 errors after 24+ hours and driver verifier, the two last dump files are from when driver verifier was turned on.
The .rar contains all the info i manged to gather from SF_Diagnostic_Tool.

All help is appreciated.

Hi and thank you!

I have updated the driver you mentioned and so far so good even though i haven't had the updated driver very long yet. I did however manage to get two new blue screens before i updated the driver, thought i might upload them just in case they could help confirm the wireless-driver error.

Thanks for the help so far, hopefully the problem is fixed with this correction!

The last two dumps are typical of Anti-Virus software drivers causing issues especially with DV enabled.

This driver is part of Avast, uninstall avast using Avast Uninstall Utility.
Install Microsoft Security Essentials as an alternative.


Keep this thread open for a couple of days to validate the stability of your system.
Then if all is well Disable Driver Verifier and mark it as solved .

Avast uninstalled but still a new blue screen, driver verifier still on. New dump attached, hope it will some new useful info.

Hi, that last dump didn't contain much except telling us that a driver caused a reference
count to drop below zero.

What settings did you use to enable Driver Verifier?
Driver Verifier will have false positives when set incorrectly.
If you want to be on the safe side you can test the RAM.

Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+:

• RAM - Test with Memtest86+

   Tip

• :info: Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial "If you have errors"
• :tip: Test the RAM with Memtest86+ for at least 7-10 passes. It may take up to 22 passes to find problems. Make sure to run it once after the system has been on for a few hours and is warm, and then also run it again when the system has been off for a few hours and is cold.

Will run the boot-version off memtestx86 tonight and see if it finds anything, I did run a version of it when windows was running some day ago.
Got two new dumps that looked as empty on info as the last one but I wouldn't call myself expert enough to see that anyways so I will attach them here.
