your system even has stated the following event: ACPI thermal zone ACPI\ThermalZone\TZ00 has been enumerated.

Basically your rig is over heating.

Bsod while pc is not being heavily used.

I recently submitted a bsod dump a few days ago diagnosing pc was overheating. I configured my cooling system (I have a cooler master seidon 120xl aio) by setting the pump to full speed and having the fans at 60% until it needs more voltage to cool. still seeing bsod while using pc and not during heavy loads. Should I check thermal paste and reapply it along with checking to make sure it is making solid contact.

Checking the thermal paste is one of the jobs in your list, but before that you have to check a lot other things. Because a stop 0x124 may be caused by a lot of things, and overheating is one of them.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Let us know the results. Will suggest the further things after seeing the results.

And, dont start multiple threads for the same issue?

So after reading the event log I saw a process called sensordetect which was associated with gigabytes easytune softwareware for the fan control which was causing the problem.
