My BSOD's have been happening for quite a while now. Sometimes they don't appear for few days and sometimes they happen 3-5 times a day. They happen at random instances, except NEVER when I'm gaming. I can be surfing the internet normally or watch a video from the browser etc. and it can come out of nowhere.
I've been trying to fix the problem by updating all the drivers, changing my antivirus program, uninstalling all the unnecessary programs and checking that RAM is ok as well. I have also tried different restore points to no avail. Next step would be installing new windows but before that I wanna see if there's still something I can do since I'm not very good with computers.
Also, lately, when I've been getting BSOD's and blue screen appears, it doesn't start creating a minidump file but only shows a flash of the blue screen and then the PC reboots. I've checked that the option for creating a minidump file is ON (from sysdm.cpl [x] automatically restart [x] select small memory dump -folder -> %systemroot%\Minidump). When I check the minidump folder, it's empty.
Additional info: I have OC'd my processor from 3,5ghz -> 4ghz just by changing multipliers only (no voltages). The temperatures have been fine and the blue screens were happening before the the overclock.
EDIT: After looking in to the minidump problem I noticed I had services.msc disabled, so I changed it to turn on automatically. Now, I just have to wait for BSOD to see whether a minidump will appear. I also had an old webcam attached to a USB 3 port (have been using it as a mic) so I took it off (not sure if it's relevant).
