Hi there! I've gotten some random BSoDs the last couple of days (and a few other instances before that), and I'm wondering what's wrong and what I can do to fix it. I didn't catch the error code, nor am I sure where I can find that, so I apologize if that information was required in the thread title.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965
4GB DDR3 Ram
Nvidia GTX560
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Other info:
-x64
-Original OS installed
-Full retail
-System is 4 months old
-OS install is 4 months old

If I did anything else wrong in how I posted this/if you need more info, please let me know, and thank you for any help you can provide. :)

One thing I would like you to do is check the size of your page file if you have one and hopefully you do you should have a file that is the same size of the amount of ram installed on your computer. Also a very big bad that I saw installed on your computer is sptd.sys which is daemon tools driver that is a major cause of bsod's I would like you to uninstall that with this tool: DuplexSecure - Downloads after you download it run the tool and click uninstall and it will remove sptd.sys from your system but first uninstall the main program by the regular method through add/remove programs in control panel. You then can run Magic Disc VD on your computer without problems from here: http://www.magicdisc.net/setup_magicdisc106.exe

Most of the dump files were corrupt so I would like you to run a malware scan on your computer using Malwarebytes from here: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download install and do a full update followed by a full scan. After that let us know the results of the scan. Then we will want to enable driver verfier if your still having bsod's after the above fixes so please let us know so that we can dig further if we have to.

Moving on to your Event viewer errors I have some fixes for you to clear some of those up;

Code:

.
Please download the authroot.zip I attached to the bottom of this post and unzip it and right click on the certificate and click on install ctl from the context menu and import the certificate. Thats it that should fix that error.

Thank you very much for your reply, sir. I'd just like to clarify a couple of your instructions here before I go on.

One thing I would like you to do is check the size of your page file if you have one and hopefully you do you should have a file that is the same size of the amount of ram installed on your computer.

Do you mean this?

DDZhN.png

If so, it looks like that's the same size as the ram in my computer (4 gigs), right?

Also a very big bad that I saw installed on your computer is sptd.sys which is daemon tools driver that is a major cause of bsod's I would like you to uninstall that with this tool: DuplexSecure - Downloads after you download it run the tool and click uninstall and it will remove sptd.sys from your system but first uninstall the main program by the regular method through add/remove programs in control panel.
I've uninstalled Daemon Tools through Add/Remove Programs, and then I downloaded the x64 version of the file you linked me to and tried to run it, but I received an "is not a valid Win32 application" error when I did. I redownloaded it with another browser and the result was the same. I haven't taken any further steps in following your instructions, as I'm unsure if the order matters or not. I'd like to clarify how to do this step properly before I go on, if that's okay.

They dont matter Hosaka you can go about them any way you like and yes your page file is good. Let me check on that program sometimes the links themselves are no good. Ok the link is good and it will run on my computer, you have something else going on that isn't good, do you have Emsisoft antimalware running on your computer?

I attached the file to this post try and run it again..

Thanks again for your reply. I've run the two fixes you attached in your first post, and they seem to have done their jobs without any hitches. About Malwarebytes, though, my computer currently has MSE installed on it. There won't be any sort of conflict or problem with having both at once, will there?

No, I don't have anything like that installed. However, I tried the file you attached and it worked, and uninstalled the driver just fine. Thanks!

No malwarebytes is compatible with mse and it's always good to have a second opinion virus scanner on your computer.:)

Awesome. I've installed both Magicdisc and Malwarebytes, and I've just finished updating latter. Will come back later with the results of the full scan.

I saved the malwarebytes log. Seems to have only found one infected file, which is gone now. I've attached it anyway, just to be sure.

I suppose the only thing left for me is to wait and see if I BSoD again, right?

Unfortunately, it happened again. :(

I've attached the .dmp file (zipped) of the latest BSoD. Hopefully someone can look it over and offer some assistance on this. :(

Hi Hosaka,

I have reviewed all of the dump files and all of them lead to a dead end. My suggestion is to enable Driver Verifier following this guide and letting your computer bsod a couple more times while it's enabled. Guide= http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html after the computer bsods at least twice disable driver verifier by opening the program again and deleting the settings either in normal mode or safe mode if you can't in normal mode.

Please post back with a full bsod posting according to this guide again: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html This will let us know the guilty driver that is causing your issue. Thank yo Hosaka for your patience it's much appreciated.

Thanks

Seth

Ahh Hosaka this is shameless it seems that your computer doesn't like scsi devices. The latest dump is is pointing to mcdbus.sys which is magiciso's magic disc. Please uninstall it for the remainder of the testing. Is there a way to play your games without mounting the disc's to the virtual drive? The first crash was cause by your video driver it needs to be updated top the latest on from NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Is there possibly a way for me to get my computer to "like" them? I suppose I could probably just burn and play, but that is a little troublesome. :/

As for the driver thing, I was updated to the latest version (280.26), but that was causing me random "stopped responding" driver crashes. Not sure if things would be any different now. Should I just upgrade anyway? :/

I would say no to that stay with the one you have if no issues are being created by it..
