Random crashes = black screen.

I'm using a new laptop that is just 2 months old which is having frequent crashes either randomly or during installation/updating of programs. When it crash it just display a black screen with no cursor and no information to what caused the crash. The crash also does not produce a dump file for debugging purposes. The only avaliable data is only from Event viewer.

My system info:
Window 7 home premium 32-bit version 6.1.7600 no service pack installed
FJNB20B FUJITSU MAIN BOARD
4096MByte RAM 2 memory modules
Intel core i7 CPU M 620 @ 2.67GHz(2667MHz)
Nvidia Geforce 310m graphic card 512Mbyte
Resolution: 1366 x 768 pixels at a color depth of 32bit
Generic PnP monitor @ 60Hz
Nvidia/Realtek high definition audio
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wifi
Broadcom Netlink gigabit ethernet

programs which crashed while installing/extracting/updating are as listed below:

1:Microsoft project(during installation)
2:Microsoft office enterprise 2007(during installation)
3:netbeans ide 6.8(during extraction or installation)
4:java development toolkit 6 update 20(during installation)
5:windows update(during checking or installation)
6:Symatec endpoint protection(during virus scan/update)
7:VMware workstation 7 32-64bit(during installation of OS to Virtual machine)
8:internet explorer(viewing web pages with adobe flash player 10)
9:Mozilla Firefox(viewing web pages with adobe flash player 10)

And just recently it did a BSOD on me while using VMware workstation and did a kernel memory dump.

Solutions that have been tried:
1:reformatting(no effect what so ever)
2:using magix pc check & tuning(clean up windows registry) (turn off unnecessary window services) (stability improved somewhat)

My school tech department have updated my hard-disk driver, chip-set driver and usb 3.0 driver as he saw from the error codes from the event viewer that these driver were causing problems. And I bought my laptop to Fujitsu service center and they changed my hard disk 2 times and they told me that it was a software problem that causes the crash when the program tried to write to windows registry. In total I did reformatting of the OS around 5 times back to factory default settings. But I'm still having crashes.
I'm now working with a very unstable laptop so I'm hoping that someone can help me find a solution soon. Thank you.

If you need more information please do let me know. Your help in solving this problem is greatly appreciated.

The 2 BSOD's listed were caused by Iastor.sys your raid driver. While it is up to date it could be corrupted. First thing I would do would be to install a fresh driver.

If you are overclocking stop

I would also run a system file check to verity your system files
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc scannow

Let us know if you need any help with this

em I'm not over clocking my laptop but my laptop is a high-end model so I'm not sure about that, although i usually use it on high-power mode when connected to AC power. Also do you know where and how to update this Iastor.sys raid driver?

results: Windows Resource protection did not find any integrity violations.

Hi,

I bought my Fujitsu SH760 from poly too and within the first 1 month it crashes a few times. It is either in the form of screen freeze or black screen which I cant do anything about it.

Did you bring your laptop back to AsiaPac to solve the problems?

Cheers,
Leo
