Attaching a pic of what happens on my desktop. I'm assuming it's something to do with my graphics -- sorry but I'm not too savvy on these things. Any suggestions? I also get these online while on FB or other photos.

Do you have switchable Intel graphics too?

Yes, Boozad, I have switchable graphics. Whenever I unplug or plug back in it asks me if I want to switch, which I do. Some one also mentioned it might be an over-heating problem too. Seems the fan is always running when I'm browsing online.

Download Speccy linked in my sig to check your GPU temperatures. Do the boxes show up when using the Intel graphics or just when using the Radeon graphics? And when you say 'whenever I unplug or plug back in it asks me if I want to switch' what do you mean by unplug or plug back in? The mains lead? External monitor?

I'm not sure which graphics are being used when. It will ask me to switch when I change my laptop from A/C to batteries (unplugged) or back again. No separate monitors. Browsing driver updates online -- maybe that will fix the issue.
