Random restarts. Error 41 Kernel-Power

I've had the same problem for at least a year and probably more like 3. There's no BSOD. It just dies. Same error message, too. I've never found the cause or a good solution. I also get system freezes, when, like the shutdown, everything stops responding. Mouse, keyboard, power button, etc. As a test I have left it overnight, maybe 10 hours, just to see if I was being impatient, but it was still frozen. The only thing I can think of is I'm overtaxing the system in some way and eventually it pukes and dies.

If you find something, let me know. I'll do the same. As a short-term solution that helps a little bit, whenever it happens I yell the first profanity that comes to mind, give my laptop the finger, and throw something. That way I don't jab the power button so hard when I hard reboot.
