I recently upgraded from windows xp to window 7 pro. Since the upgrade, my computer just randomly restarts whenever I am not actively using it. I can play WoW for hours then log out and it will restart within 30 mins. I've unchecked the auto restart on BSOD and it still restarts. Any help would be appreciated.

File says no compatible hardware was found for these drivers. I have the Geforce FX5500.

How did I know you were going to say that?:p

Install by device manager. Right click. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Double click on the installer's .inf. Hit ok. Reboot when it finishes installing.

Ok, I tried that, but don't get the have disk option with win 7 i guess. Says to point to where the driver is and I do, then it says I have the best driver.

In my thoughts, ~ 20:1 odds you are not following post #5 from the last page of this thread.

Chill out, relax, follow that calmly and you will have a working video card. Run the .exe first to extract to C:\ATI....

I really appreciate your help.

You're welcome.
