Since a recent Windows Update was supposed to make this game work in Windows 7, I decide to install it on my secondary rig. While it appears that the installation itself took, just before I could click the finish button, Windows Defender popped an alert for Program:Win32/PowerRegScheduler and is waiting for my input. I've never seen this before, and have no idea of whether it is needed to run the game or not? I said no to everything that it wanted to add, so I assume that this is part of the basic installation, but then again, the name doesn't sound like anything that a game should be dealing with. Does anyone know anything about it?

EDIT: After a very quick Google, I decided that it wasn't required for the game to run (I hope), so I let WD do it's thing, but it later popped another alert saying that one or more problems were encountered, and to check the details under status. Doing that, I find nothing labeled "status", nor anything that appears to explain the problem(s). So I have no idea of where it stands now.

Strange, I checked with WD's history, and it doesn't mention this or any other file, nor show anything in quarantine, yet it now says that all is well. A manual search of C: didn't find it, and I'm in the process of scanning with Malwarebytes, but I have a hunch that WD did remove it, but didn't record it.

Malwarebytes gave an all clear also, so i guess the problem is dealt with, but looking at "path" of the file in my first post, it is not really a path at all, because there is no folder named win32, nor does one exist like that in my XP installation either, and I have not scanned for this file there yet. What does program:win32 mean?

I had uninstalled RS, because I didn't feel like diddling with it at the time, but I just tried to install it several times just now, and each time I always get the same error. When it finishes with the first disk, and ask for the second, the moment that the drive spins up, it pops an error title itype.exe -wrong volume, and asks for disk 1 again. Whether I give it disk 1 again or not, the error persists, and he game doesn't install.

I tried using two different sets of game disks, and two different optical drives, so the common denominator seems to be the title of the error "itype.exe - wrong disk" Obviously, itype is the MS keyboard driver that I'm using, but what does this driver have to do with a game installation?
