i am having an issue i have two wndows 7 home premium computers in seperate offices and when i remote desktop to the offsite one i am unable to print to the printer on site.

I have enabled the printer sharing and added additional driver support for the printer. It shows up when i am connected as redirected 2 and i can access all of the properties and other menus. However whenever i print to the printer the job never makes it. It does not matter what program i am in i have tried word excel notepad the test page firefox and nothing comes to the printer. The printer is not directly connected to the computer it is a local network install and works fine from all computers in the office just not with Remote Desktop. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Jabesette: Welcome to the windows 7 forums.

If my old memory does not fail me, I believe that home premium has a problem being the target of a RDP session.

you need 7 pro to be able to host a RDP session without aggrivation.

But I could be wrong.

I should have closed this thread long ago as I solved this particular problem. Using a program such as thinstuff will allow you to remote desktop into any supported windows system
