Hello,

I've recently bought a new headset for my Skype telephone, and I don't want to unplug it from the front jacks each time I finish a call to get the sound back to my rear speaker jacks. I've seen Realtek having a so-called Multistreaming ability, and I'd like some insights on if this is really working good, and if so, how to configure it properly, and not mess it all up...
Thanks :)

Well, some options may be available on the Playback devices dialog-Communications tab.

But the Realtek mixer can be started in the Control Panel and perhaps in the Advanced Device settings you will see a check mark for "Mute rear with front headphone plugged in" and "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams".

You might remove the solved notation on the thread so folks don't think you have a solution.
