Ok, Im desperate.
I have tried to install the updated Realtek HD Audio drivers, from different sites, even from Gigabyte (my motherboard) and everytime I install, it fails about halfway through the install. Every time I reboot, it automatically calls the setupAR file and fails again (sound still works thankfully).
So I stopped and disabled setupAR process (I figured it was linked to Realtek) and it wouldnt reinstall and then sound wouldnt work.
Got sound going again using the Win 7 troubleshooter but I still get the Realtek Installshield on startup - that fails everytime. Anyone ablt to tell me how to stop this happening?
Thanks heaps.
